Pickleball Courts Construction
Pickleball is fun, social and friendly! The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but it can develop into a fast-paced, competitive game. When installing a temporary (or permanent) pickleball court, it is important to know the correct specifications as indicated in the diagram. It is also important to note that if you are setting up an outdoor pickleball court on an existing court surface that is oriented in the normal north/south direction, do not place the pickleball courts at right angles to the court. Doing so will leave a player looking directly into the sun in the early morning or late afternoon, which can certainly prove to be a safety hazard.

A pickleball court is the same size as a double badminton court and measures 6.1x13.41 meters.
In pickleball, the same court is used for both singles and doubles play. The net height is 91.5 cm.
The total area needed for a pickleball court (excluding the playing field), is 18.29 x 9.14 meters.

Pickleball courts are usually constructed using hard surface material such as concrete or asphalt.
The playing surface is then coated with an acrylic paint finish, enhancing grip and demarcating the various play zones through subtle colors.
